How much can I contribute to an IRA?

Contributions to a Traditional IRA and Roth IRA should be based on your eligible contribution limit, and in 2019, are not to exceed $6,000 per individual or $7,000 if you’re 50 or older.

The annual contribution limits for 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 are $5,500 per individual or $6,500 if you’re 50 and over.

There is no contribution limit to Rollover IRAs, since your rollover amount is based on qualified eligible funds from the employer plan.
