Getting started with recurring transfers is easy. Here’s a step-by-step how-to guide on how to get set-up in seconds.
1. Log in to your Motif account and from your dashboard go to the “Account” dropdown menu and select “Transfer Money”.
2. From within the “Online Transfer (ACH)” secondary navigation click on “Set up as a recurring deposit” from within the “Deposit Funds” tab. If you’re looking to set up a recurring withdrawal click on the “Withdraw Funds” tab and you will see a similar option to “Set up as a recurring withdrawal”.
3. On this page you can specify your recurring deposit or withdrawal criteria. Select the appropriate linked bank account to deposit from or withdraw to, type in the amount and first deposit/withdrawal date, select the frequency of the recurring transfer in the dropdown, and finally indicate how long you want the recurring transfer to be active. Click the “Save Recurring Deposit” or “Save Recurring Withdrawal” button to complete the transaction.
4. Once you’ve set up a recurring transfer you’ll see a record of all active recurring deposits and withdrawals in two separate tables at the bottom of the page.
From here you can select an active recurring transfer to either edit or cancel.
If you select “cancel” you’ll have the option to cancel a single scheduled transfer (up to three upcoming scheduled transfers) or the entire series.
If you select “edit” you can edit and update any of the original criteria.
